Office Terminology

 Office Suit ဆိုပြီး ရုံးလုပ်ငန်း မှာ ကွန်ပျူတာ နဲ့ ရုံးအလုပ်တွေ လုပ်ကြတဲ့သူတွေ မသုံးမဖြစ် သုံးကြတဲ့ software တွေ ရှိတယ်။ မြန်မာမှာ မသိတဲ့သူ မရှိတာက Microsoft ရဲ့ Office suit ပေါ့။ Standard Office Suit မှာ Words, Excel, Power Point ဆိုပြီး ပါတယ်။ မြန်မာကလူတွေက Terminology တွေ သေချာ မသိပဲ အမှတ်မှားနေကြတာတွေ ရှိတယ်။ ဒါတွေ နည်းနည်း ရှင်းပြချင်တာပါ။ 

Office Suit မှာ ဘာတွေ ပါသလဲဆိုတော့ 

• Word Processor 

ဒါက စာစီစာရိုက် အတွက် သုံးပါတယ်။ Microsoft ရဲ့ Words နဲ့ ကျွန်တော်တွဲ သိကြတာပါ။ တခြား company က ထုတ်တဲ့ Word Processors တွေလည်း ရှိပါတယ်။ 

Apple ကတော့ သူ့ရဲ့ Word Processor က Pages လို့ နာမည်ပေးထားပါတယ်။ Apple Products တွေမှာ Free သုံးလို့ ရပါတယ်။ အခု ၂၀၂၇ မှာတော့ paid plan နဲ့ လာမယ်လို့လည်း ပြောထားပါသေးတယ်။

Google ကလည်း သူ့ Word Processor ကို Docs လို့ ပေးထားပါတယ်။ Google ကတော့ Browser based မို့ Browser ရှိယုံ Google account ရှိယုံနဲ့ သုံးလို့ရပါတယ်။ Android နဲ့ iOS, iPadOS မှာ app ရှိပေမယ့် browser မှာ သုံးရတာလောက် မကောင်းပါဘူး။ နောက်ပြီး Google ရဲ့ Office suit မှာက  collaboration လုပ်ရတာ ပိုအဆင်ပြေပါတယ်။ Collab လုပ်ဖို့ လိုတယ်ဆိုရင် Google Office Suit ကို highly recommanded ပါပဲ။

• Spreadsheet

သူ့ကိုကျတော့ မြန်မာက လူတွေက Excel လို့ မသိကြပါဘူး။ မူရင်းက spreadsheet ပါ။ ဒါပေမယ့် Microsoft ရဲ့ Excel ကိုပဲ သိပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ Excel လို့ပဲ နာမည်တွင်သွားပါတော့တယ်။

Apple ကတော့ သူ့ရဲ့ Spreadsheet software ကို Numbers လို့ နာမည်ပေးထားပါတယ်။ ကျွန်တော်ကတော့ basic functions တွေပဲ သုံးဖူးတာမို့ pro level and advanced level တွေ ဖြစ်တဲ့ Pivot table တို့ macro တို့လို Excel function တွေ က Apple ရဲ့ Numbers မှာ သုံးလို့ ရ မရ မသိပါဘူး။

Google ကတော့ ဒီ software ကိုကျ Google Sheets လို့ နာမည်ပေးထားပါတယ်။ Google sheet မှာကတော့ တခြားGoogle Software နဲ့တွဲပြီး သုံးလို့ ရတာတွေ အများကြီး ရှိတယ်။ ဥပမာ Google App Script နဲ့ Google sheet နဲ့ ချိတ်ပြီး ကိုယ်ပိုင် App ပါ ထုတ်လို့ရပါတယ်။

• Presentation 

ဒါလည်း မူလနာမည်မသိကြတော့ပဲ Microsoft ရဲ့ Power Point လို့ပဲ လူသိကြပါတယ်။ 

Apple က Keynote လို့ နာမည်ပေးထားပြီး Google ကတော့ Google Slides လို့ နာမည်ပေးထားပါတယ်။

ဒါကတော့ Apple နဲ့ Google က ထုတ်တဲ့ Office suit တွေပါ။ တခြား နာမည်ကြီးတာကတော့ Linux နဲ့ တွဲပြီး နာမည်ရလာတဲ့ Libre Office ပါ။ မြန်မာစာ ကို word count တွေ segment ခွဲတာတွေပါ ရလို့ မြန်မာစာ အတွက် သုံးချင်တယ်ဆို အဆင်အပြေဆုံးပါ။

MS Office လို UI ပုံစံလေးနဲ့ သုံးချင်တယ်။ ပိုက်ဆံလည်း မပေးချင်ဘူး။ Crack လည်း မသုံးချင်ဘူးဆိုရင်တော့ OnlyOffice ရှိပါတယ်။ File Size လည်း နည်းတဲ့ အပြင် Personal Use အတွက် free ပေးထားပါတယ်။ Window, Mac, Linux အကုန် ရပါတယ်။
